Situated on the mezzanine level of one of the most beautiful and historic palazzos in the whole of Venice and within a stone’s throw of an excellent variety of traditional bars, restaurants and interesting small shops typical of Dorsoduro, including the canal-side Osteria Enoteca Ai Artisti, Ristorante Bakaro, Oniga, Osteria Alla Bifora, Ca’ Del Vento, Locanda Montin and Osteria Ai Pugni to name but a few… not forgetting the locals’ favourite Cantinone Gia Schiavi-Al Bottegon for super cicheti and Bar Alla Toletta for some of the tastiest tramezzini in town!

Un ancien palais au bord d’un canal à quelques minutes de la Place Saint-Marc.

À quelques pas de l’église du XVIIIe siècle de Santa Maria Della Fava et à proximité d’une foule de sites et d'attractions célèbres, notamment la capsule temporelle vénitienne qu'est le Querini Stampalia, le fabuleux Palazzo Grimani juste à côté du Campo Santa Maria Formosa, l'église de San Zaccaria avec sa crypte et son merveilleux retable de Bellini, et La Pietà de Vivaldi sur le front de mer ensoleillé de Riva degli Schiavoni...
... À une courte distance, à travers calles tranquilles, canaux et espaces verts, de la vie paisible du quartier de Castello, à l'atmosphère décontractée et très authentique...
... Baptisé d'après les palmiers florissants qui se dressent vers le ciel depuis son vaste jardin gazonné (tout à vous !) près du joli canal Rio delle Romite, ce paisible sanctuaire intérieur à l'adresse très recherchée promet une expérience vénitienne exceptionnelle pour un maximum de 6 personnes.

Des portes-fenêtres en arc de cercle menant à une charmante cour intérieure revêtue d’un plancher en bois, ombragée par des « voiles » en tissu, meublée de sièges capitonnés et servant de salon « al fresco » par beau temps.
Une salle à manger élégante avec une table et des chaises contemporaines pouvant accueillir 6 convives, éclairée par un second lustre Pampille antique, et une porte vitrée s'ouvrant sur le remarquable jardin clos de 200 m² de Corte della Palma, somptueusement gazonné, doté d'une magnifique terrasse pavée meublée / loggia éclairée par des lanternes vénitiennes soufflées à la main, pour des dîners mémorables sous les étoiles, des parterres de fleurs fraîchement plantés à côté d'un pavage à chevrons, une ancienne et très charmante tête de puits « vera da pozzo » sans doute utilisée autrefois pour approvisionner en eau fraîche les résidents de la maison, et une paire de chaises longues avec parasol sur une autre terrasse sous les palmiers... une tranche de pur paradis... qui aurait cru que Venise possédait de tels jardins ? !

Le cadeau rare d'un jardin et d'une maison magnifiquement aménagée réunis dans un ensemble parfait dans le sestiere Dorsoduro !
À quelques pas de l'un des derniers ateliers de fabrication de gondoles encore en activité à Venise (San Trovaso), du pittoresque Campo San Barnaba, du pont et des galeries de l'Accademia, du musée Ca' Rezzonico de la Venise du XVIIIe siècle récemment rouvert, de l'emblématique église de la Salute, de la collection Peggy Guggenheim, de la galerie du Palazzo Cini, et du Centre d'art contemporain Punta Della Dogana...
... À proximité également d'une grande variété de restaurants et de bars, notamment la Locanda Montin, le Ristorante Riviera, l'Enoteca Ai Artisti, l'Oniga, l'Osteria Al Squero et la Cantine del Vino già Schiavi (l'un des restaurants préférés des habitants de la région, qui propose certains des meilleurs cicchetti de la ville).
