Dimora Italia is a curated collection of extraordinary private residences, restored for real living, not just visiting. No stiff, uniformed concierges: our local team welcomes you like a friend, hands over the keys, shows you the coffee machine, then leaves the city to you. We’re just a text away if you need us.

Homes in Italy that hold your time
Venice
Where Dimora began. From Grand Canal palazzos to the residential quiet of Dorsoduro, our properties give you the rarest thing in Venice: local lifestyle.
Florence
In Florence, hidden behind stone facades are private courtyards, frescoed ceilings, and an artistic inheritance no museum can hold. Positioned right between the Duomo and Palazzo Vecchio, our residences offer the ultimate Florentine setup.
MILAN
The Milan the Milanesi keep to themselves. Behind unmarked doors, our spaces plug you straight into secret design ateliers and local neighborhood bars where the Negroni Sbagliato is still poured exactly the right way.
Rome
Residences where the city stops being a tourist backdrop and becomes a neighborhood. Settle into a piazza cafe, watch ancient ruins emerge between the pines, and let the golden evening light make time completely irrelevant.
Lucca
Tuscany at its most discreet. Enclosed by massive Renaissance walls, our spaces look out onto tree-crowned towers and streets where Puccini’s notes still drift through the air.

Magazine
A curated collection of perspectives, secrets, and the soulful rhythm of the Italian life
Our magazine is more than a collection of pages; it is a companion for the intentional traveler. It is the place where our philosophy of demorari—to linger—takes flight through storytelling. Here, we translate Filippo’s “encyclopedic agenda” into a series of intimate narratives, revealing the hidden layers of the cities we call home.

About us
The Faces Behind the Heritage
The founder
Raised inside a 15th-century Grand Canal palazzo, Filippo Gaggia founded Views on Venice in 1999 on a simple premise: that travel’s greatest reward is the privilege of being an insider. He saw a rare way of living worth unveiling, and that philosophy anchors every door we unlock today.
The Story
What began as a singular vision to open a private estate has grown into Italy’s most considered destination brand. Our expansion from a single Venetian agency across the country’s most historic cities has been intentionally slow, made up of deliberate choices guided strictly by a love of place.
The team
We are Venetians, Florentines, Milanese, and Romans—insiders who grew up navigating these places. Every host, curator, and specialist on our team brings a depth of local neighborhood instinct that a booking algorithm simply cannot replicate.
